Nora Zarvos’ experience within the field of “Human Service” and “Transformational Work” began over 20 years ago. Her professional experiences range from Psychiatric Social Work to School Social Worker where she worked with children/adolescents and their families. Nora later went on to create a Transformational Training Company in Spain named “ODISEA” with a focus on Personal Growth and the developing leadership skills.
Receiving her Master’s in Social Work at the University at Stony Brook, N.Y., her intention has always been to make a lasting difference in the world through personal development. Her focus and passion continues to be the empowerment of humanity with a focus on women and children. She has developed a womens workshop called “The Gathering,” and a workshop for teens titled “Leadership for Teens.” Her ongoing work consists of personal coaching and facilitating experiential workshops, with the goal of reconnecting people to their own greatness and in turn through them creating a transformed world.
Nora, a native New Yorker, now lives joyfully with her husband Jim (a Leadership and Transformational Trainer) and two sets of twins Demi and Eleni, Nicholas and Liana, in a 100-year-old Victorian Farm House in Indiana. Nora loves spending time with her family, and friends, traveling, hiking, dancing, cooking, gardening, working out, playing in the snow and laughing! Nora and Jim are both dedicated to creating a more loving and transformed world through their work at their training center “Beyond Your Best”.
